Story Walk

Enjoy a story while you stroll! Our outdoor Story Walk takes you on a .44-mile path around the Library, combining reading with fresh air and a little exercise. It’s a fun, free activity for families and friends to enjoy together. Stories are changed regularly, so there’s always something new to discover.

Best of all, the Story Walk is open anytime—even when the Library is closed!

Soundgarden

Step into the Library’s Sound Garden, where ten outdoor instruments invite patrons of all ages to play, explore, and create music. Move from station to station discovering new sounds, or take a seat and enjoy the melodies of others.

The Sound Garden is open for everyone to enjoy at any time, day or night.

Need a quick story time on the go? Call 270-422-BOOK (2665) to hear stories read by library staff and community members. Listen to the options and choose the story best for you. Stories are updated regularly and you can call in from anywhere, any time of day.
Great for bedtime, car rides, quiet time, or just a little entertainment during the day. No screen required!
